Video Pic of the Week

We can't always focus on the kids on this blog.

Here's our first video of the week.

The Eagles "How Long" - by far, the best record of 2007 that didn't get enough attention.

Enjoy the music!

Our Nephew Nicolas

We only have twins on the way. They'll arrive at the gate in September. We can only anticipate their arrival. In the meantime, we need to mention babies that are already at the gate.

And, since this is a blog about babies and everybody loves baby pictures, here's your proverbial baby picture.

It's our nephew Nicolas J. Ray who was born in January to my sister Jill and her husband Steve.

Nicolas lives in Bloomington, Indiana where it's always 1959. He's a big fan of the Hoosiers and probably a future chemist.

Nicolas knows his mother played soccer so he's getting ready to play too.

Nicolas looks at the bear as his Grandma holds it up.

The Second Post

Jennifer is pregnant with twins. However, that didn't stop her from climbing up Stone Mountain on Saturday.

Enjoy the pictures.

We're about halfway up the hill. Over our shoulders is the Atlanta skyline. It's probably a little cloudy and hazy to be visible through the camera. We had thunderstorms about 45 minutes after we got off the summit of the mountain.

Jen's Garmin said it was about a 800 foot elevation change and about a 1.75 mile trek from the start of the trail to the tower at the top. The tower houses the transmitter for a public television station (WGTV). At one time, there was a radio transmitter on the tower, yet it was moved to make way for digital broadcast television.

The First Post

Jen is in New Mexico learning how to take care of twins.

She has all the ultrasound photos with her.

So, I'm getting this started with a photo of the Atlanta tornado on March 14.

Could this be a metaphor about how our life will change?
