Happy Election Day

Derek and Spencer wanted me to update their football picks from the weekend.

Derek went 9-3 losing only on Texas, Georgia, and Michigan. Those are three legendary college football programs. Both the Michigan and Texas loses happened in the last minutes of play. Georgia - not so much.

D picked Michigan siding his cousins in Ann Arbor. He should have sided with his cousin and Purdue Alum Karle.

Derek is busy working on his picks for this weekend and the games just aren't as exciting, except for that big game in Baton Rouge. D also will probably begrudingly pick Wisconsin over Indiana, although he doesn't hold out much hope for the future of the Badger football program.

Spencer went 5-1 on his pro football picks. He only missed on the Falcons. I guess the Raiders really are that bad. Spence isn't sure if he'll pick the Bears as long as Rex is the QB. And, with Schaub out as the Texans QB, the old Iowa State Cyclone Sage Rosenfels isn't necessarily a good wager either.

On his NASCAR bonus play, Spencer hit three of four.
